Homemade Flu Bomb Recipe

DIY Home Remedy, such as this Homemade Flu Bomb Recipe prevents you get Cold and Flu as well as get over being sick faster.

Everyone gets sick, almost every single year. Sometimes even more than once a year, so you need this magical elixir.

I posted this recipe last year on Instagram and highlighted it because it is so amazing.

I tested and keep testing in on my family because it works wonders.

No, it does not taste good, but it is bearable because you have one thing in mind and that is to get better as soon as possible.

I am almost certain that this will help you prevent cold or flu and if you get one, it will help you get over it faster.

Homemade Flu Bomb Recipe

This magical elixir is packed with amazing health properties and amazing benefits that you have no idea. Drink it twice a day for two or three days and your body will naturally start to heal.

For the first time, we had flu in our house. My youngest one tested positive.

Now, I have been making this for a whole year, as well as my other magical elixir. Link Below!

As soon as they tell me: “Hey, I feel like I am coming down with something”, I am in my kitchen making it right away just to prevent it from happening.

Must Try Miracle Combo:

Beets, Green Apples, Carrots, Ginger and Lemon

We were not sick for years, knock on the wood. I only heard of flu, but we never had one so I was not familiar with danger from getting flu to intaking pharmaceutical medicine prescriptions. Tamiflu!

BUT, last year, my youngest one got it. What can you do, right?

Our schools are full of sick kids every single day during flu season, so you cannot really avoid getting influenza, especially if the kids are young.

After all, it shows that in the USA we have about 3 million cases per year.

Homemade Flu Bomb Recipe

Anyhow, with the combination of fever reducers, vitamin C and this drink, I was able to help him heal much faster.

Yes, I tossed Tamiflu after reading all the horror stores. Also, my boy had hallucinations so that medication was not an option.

We swear by this one, though. I waited a long time to post this recipe. I tested on my family and kept improving until it was perfect.

Make a tea and set aside. Allow it to steep for 3-5 minutes.

Meanwhile, chop or grate the rest of the ingredients and add to the cup or a heat-safe jar.

Pour hot a tea over it, mix well and let it sit in the hot liquid for 5 minutes.

You may drink it as it is, but I like to use a fine mesh tea strainer and get rid of the leftover pulp.

    Broiled Flank Steak

    Broiled Flank Steak

    Broiled Flank Steak

Delicious Broiled Flank Steak! How do you like it, rare, medium-rare or well done?

I am medium rare to a well-done type of person… or at least somewhere in between.

I desperately wanted to grill this one the other day or at least smoke it.

Well, the continuous rain kept me from doing it, so the next best thing was grilling it under the broiler.

    Broiled Flank Steak

The fragrant spices were perfect, and it tasted really tasty.

You know Flank Steak could be a bit chewy or tough, but I think it depends on where you buy your meat, as well as how old it was.

The flank makes a mean fajita, and it’s also an excellent choice for bibimbap, stir-fries, or even Philly cheesesteak.

It is just so delicious that I could eat it every other day.

    Broiled Flank Steak

I got to say that this method of cooking a steak is popularly called London Broil.

Tougher pieces of meat, commonly, flank or top round steak, are left to marinate overnight.

Then you should be broiled under high heat and served by thinly slicing the meat across the grain.

    Broiled Flank Steak

I typically served it low carb for my family. Well, my kids had bread, of course. We are carb lovers after all.

However, my lovely husband and I enjoyed it with some oven-roasted ranch cauliflower cooked in steak dripping.

The other dish was sauteed cabbage in garlic Alfredo sauce, which was perfect. Needless to say, we inhaled this delicious meal.

If you follow Low-Carb Diet this meat is perfect. You can combine it with cabbage like I served my air-fryer ribs or cauliflower, maybe a bowl of greens.

    Broiled Flank Steak
    Yield: Serves 4 to 6

    Broiled Flank Steak

    Prep Time: 5 minutes
    Cook Time: 15 minutes
    Marinating Beef: 3 hours
Total Time: 3 hours 20 minutes

Tasty and easy recipe for Broiled Flank Steak

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds Flank Steak

    For the marinade:

    • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Lime juice, Vinegar, or similar acid for tenderizing the meat
    • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
    • 2 Cloves Garlic grated or pressed in a garlic press
    • 2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
    • 1 tablespoon per side Grill/Barbecue Spices

    Instructions

    1. Coat the flank steak with marinade: Place the steak in a shallow dish, like a 9×13-inch baking dish. Whisk together all the marinade ingredients and pour over the steak. Rub the marinade into the steak and flip the steak once or twice in the dish to coat.
    2. Marinate for about 3 hours (it can marinate overnight in the fridge, covered). Cover the dish and place the steak in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Turn the steak occasionally maybe after minutes. If you leave it overnight try to flip after a couple of hours.
    3. Heat the broiler and prepare the pan: Set your broiler to its highest setting. Place an oven rack a few inches below the broiler element.
    4. Drizzle the pan with oil and place the steak on.
    5. Remove the steak from the marinade, shake off the excess, and place it in the middle of the broiler pan. Place the pan it under the broiler. Cook for 7-10 minutes per side. This all depends on your taste; rare, medium rare or well done.
    6. The steak is done when the edges are a bit charred and crispy, and you see some dark searing on the top. Using your meat thermometer, check the temperature in the thickest part with an instant-read thermometer: 115F to 120F for a rare steak, 120F to 125F for a medium-rare steak, and 140F to 145F for medium-well steak.
    7. Note that If additional cooking is needed, cook for another minute or two for every 10 degrees needed; transfer the steak to the oven if it’s becoming too crisp on the edges.
    8. This is a very important part Transfer the steak to a cutting board and allow it to rest for at least 5 minutes.
    9. Slice the steak into very thin slices using a sharp knife, cutting against the grain. Transfer the slices to a serving platter, then pour the juices from the pan and cutting board over the meat and toss to coat.

    Notes

Grilled Flank Steak: Instead of broiling, you can also grill flank steak over very high heat on a gas or charcoal grill. The cooking times are the same.

You may marinate this from 3 hours to overnight. The Flank steak takes marinates very well so it will tenderize.

    Easy Energy Bars
    Yield: 10 Servings

    Easy Energy Bars

    Prep Time: 10 minutes
    Cook Time: 7 minutes
    Resting time: 2 hours
Total Time: 2 hours 17 minutes

Perfect bars to pick you up after a workout, or if you need a snack to keep you full until your actual meal. This, not a meal replacement, it is a homemade snack that will keep you satisfied, cravings for sugar suppressed and give you some energy to get you through the day.

    Ingredients

    Instructions

    1. Turn the oven to 375 F and allow it to preheat.
    2. On a large baking sheet combine together oats, cashews, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds. Toast it for 5 minutes, mix it then toast for another 2 minutes. Do not burn and do not go into fully toasted, this is just to release the aroma, and get that amazing taste so do not skip this step either. Take it out of the oven and let it slightly cool down. You may place it on the cutting board and run a knife through it if you want this less chunky.
    3. Cut dried fruit into smaller chunks as well. Place it on the cutting board and just run a knife and roughly chop.
    4. Add all the dried ingredients in the large bowl, then add Maple syrup. Read notes for more info.
    5. Mix the whole mixture together. Use your hands to mix it (This is also an amazing skin scrub).
    6. Line the middle of a deep baking pan with parchment paper or wax paper, 9x9 square pan is perfect. If you want these bars to have a bit taller or higher, then use a smaller pan. I said a middle of the pan because then it is easier to pull it out of the pan. See pictures.
    7. Oil your hand with healthy oils, avocado oil, oil, coconut oil and similar then lightly oil the pan sides.
    8. Transfer the mixture to the pan and press with your oily fingers and hand for a couple of minutes until the mixture is firm.
    9. Cover with a plastic film or wax paper and place in the fridge.
    10. Allow it to set for at least 2 hours before eating, but the best results are 24 hours in the fridge.

    Notes

This is really versatile. You can add any fruit, nuts or seeds.

If you want less sugar in your bar Maple syrup is the way to go. As sugars go, pure maple syrup is one of the least harmful. Honey or agave nectar is a good alternative to use although if you are able to use pure maple please use it.

This can make up to 14 servings depending what size of the pan you are using or how you cut the bars; into long bars or squares.

These bars are between 340-380 calories, depending what brands of protein powder, dried fruit or maple syrup you are using.

For fewer calories slice these with a serrated edge knife, also known as a bread knife, into equal squares.

To get the most out of making your homemade bars buy them in bulk. The ingredients are really affordable when you compare to prepacked. Also, you have the option to get organic and buy what you like and what you wish to use in these bars. You may use more fruits or nuts or less.
