Classic Beef Tacos

  • 2 pounds Ground Beef 20/80
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 pack Taco seasoning read the notes
  • Salt and Ground Black Pepper to taste

Other ingredients:

  • Corn Shells, or Soft
  • Mexican Cream or Sour Cream
  • Pico De Gallo
  • Shredded Lettuce
  • Avocado*optional


  1. Turn the heat to medium high temp. and saute ground beef a couple of minutes, then add onion powder, taco seasoning, Add a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste. 

  2. Let it cool down for a minute or two until putting them in the hard corn shells or serve in the soft tortillas with any topping that you desire. 

    My go-to toppings: pico de gallo, Mexican cream or sour cream, lettuce and Mexican shredded cheese. Sometimes I would add some pickled jalapenos. 

Recipe Notes

You may use already premixed taco seasoning instead of mixing it yourself.
