We are already a week into the March and I cannot wait for the Springtime. You all know how much I love Spring?! I feel sorry for those that suffer from allergies, but when you live in Tennessee, allergies are a common thing throughout the year
Before every season, I make this combination to cleanse, boost, strengthen and energize our (my families) body. It’s one of the greatest recipes that friend of mine shared with me 5 or 6 years ago.
I tweaked a bit, not because it wasn’t good enough before, but I thought of adding some other ingredients would make it even more benefiting.
To make a long story short, my kids, especially my eldest son were getting sick all the time. It was breaking my heart that there was no other way than to give them antibiotics
As much as those antibiotics help, that much more it weakens their/our body.
After 4th ear infection in 9 months, I talked to that friend, a friend from childhood. She swears by this, and I, well, I was skeptical
They would drink and eat it each morning for 10 days straight for 2 months. Something changed, their immune system became stronger, and it was able to fight. The face complexion changed as well. I tested this combination, this mixture not only on my children, but on my nieces, husband, and myself.
Why is it so good?
I actually did a little digging around and found out that the Chinese herbalist made a drink with beets, apples, carrots, and lemon, then called it a Miracle Drink. Now, I do not have any proof of that, other than resources online. But it made sense to me because of all the benefits that all 4 ingredients contain!
It’s recommended for people with lung cancer, as well as all the other Cancer patients that are going through the harsh treatment.
In all types of cancer, some of the body’s cells begin to divide without stopping and spread into surrounding tissues.
A Miracle Drink can prevent the growth of cancer cells, and renew damaged ones.
It makes your immune system much stronger if you drink it a glass of Miracle drink for 3 months, religiously each morning as soon as you wake up and before you eat or drink anything. It may also help patients cope with the side effects of cancer treatment.
But that was only with a combination of Beets, Apples, Carrots, and Lemon and in a juice form.
Mine is the real deal, all nutrition locked in.
I added ginger, honey, and cinnamon to that combo of Beets, Apples, Carrots, and Lemon. I strongly believe that this is even more powerful and effective. I am not stating it will ‘cure’ illness, but down the line, it can perhaps help prevent it.
I lost more people to that damn disease that you can’t count on your fingers and toes together; aunts, uncles, grandpa, etc. I am sure you know somebody that lost a battle with cancer, that still fighting or that is a survivor.
For me, many were my blood related close family members and that means that it’s in my family history, in my genes…
That means that the chances are that I might get it, too. In reality, I was scared shitless! I thought that freaking disease will come and get me sooner or later. It’s really hard to live with that kind of thought. It brings you down!
So, I started to read about it and learned that about 5 – 10 (%) percent of cancers are caused by harmful mutations that are inherited from a close family member, such as parents. In families with an inherited cancer-causing mutation, multiple family members will often develop the same type of cancer.
These cancers are called “familial” or “hereditary” cancers. On the other hand, even if nobody in your blood related close family had, we can still develop cancer just because we do not take care of ourselves in general.
I pushed that thought, that fact to back of my head. It still remains in the back, but just as a reminder that I don’t want to wait or live with that fear, or thought that it might or might not happen.
I want to live, enjoy and make myself, my body strong enough to fight. That’s why I make this Mixture quarterly for me and my family –to make us strong, healthy and to sucker-punch anything that comes our way!
Most of the time we wait until we get sick and then realized to do something about it. Don’t wait until you get flu, infections or heaven forbids something even worse, so keep your body healthy on time.
I make juice (recipe here) when I feel sluggish and in loss of energy, however, making it in a blender or shredding it manually with a hand shredder keeps all the nutrition in. All the fibers are so important, and we eat it with the spoon.
A few tablespoons in the morning and we are good to go. Shredding it manually has been a pain because beets stain your fingers (I’ll tell you a trick at the end of the notes), but any good blender or food processor will do the job even better
On top of all that I just said up there at the beginning of the post, I will add that it’s doing wonders for your skin- facial complexion, hair, eyes. Reduces pain following intensive physical training, improves bad breath from poor digestion, reduces menstrual pain.
Contains A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, E, K Folate, Zinc, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Phosphorus, Calcium, Sodium, Copper, along with Niacin and Iron, as well as several anti-aging agents.
Strengthens heart, kidney, pancreas, and liver.
Sharpens brain and boost memory.
Fights Anemia and Asthma.
This alkaline food type of mixture is most defiantly very welcome for our body, meaning that it creates an alkaline pH balance in the body. I am a strong believer in a balanced diet.
Alkaline Vegetables: Beets, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Celery, Cucumber, Kale, Onions, Peas, etc.
Alkalizing Fruits: Apple, Banana, Berries, Grapes, Melons, Lemon, Orange, Watermelon etc.
Alkalizing Protein: Almonds, Chestnuts, Tofu
Alkalizing Spices: Cinnamon, Curry, Ginger, Mustard, Sea Salt
Your urine/bowel movement might change color. If you see reddish color, looking more like you’re bleeding do not worry, it is from the powerful beet color. Completely natural and it doesn’t happen to everybody.
DO NOT drink/eat it before BED!!!! Beets have a very strong detoxing effect which would and might cause severe sleep interference. The best time to drink juice or eat it with the spoon is in the morning, preferably on the empty stomach.
If you cannot eat honey, simply omitted, although it is healthy and helps in so many ways. You can use something like maple instead.
Please check with your Physician if you are alright to eat this combination. Safety is #1 so ask if you are uncertain!
- 2.2 Lb. 1 kg Beets
- 2.2 Lb. 1kg Granny Smith Apples
- 2.2 Lb. 1kg Carrots
- 2 inches 5 cm Fresh Ginger Root ( or 2 teaspoons Powdered Ginger
- 1 large Lemon peeled
- 10 Oz Organic Honey
- 2 tbsp. 30g ground Cinnamon
- Wash and peel beets. Cut into smaller chunks.
- Wash and slice apples, no peeling necessary.
- Scrub carrots and cut into thick pieces.
- Peel ginger.
- Place everything in the blender or food processor. Add Honey and Cinnamon.
- Process until there are no more chunks.
- It will still have texture.
- You can do this in two or three batches. Leave it in the fridge overnight, before eating it in the morning.
- Store in a glass jar, or airtight container for up to 10 days.
- Eat 2-3 Tbsp. Each morning /for 7-10 days (OR more). Drink some water after, preferably room temperature.
- THIS IS VERY POWERFUL! I am serious! Eat few tablespoons in the morning, but do not overeat. Your BODY needs to adjust for at least a couple of days. Later, you can take up to 4 tablespoons depending on how you’re feeling. If you feel sick, 4 tbsp. Would be alright so you can help your body heal faster, however, do not go over 4 tbsp. You can even drink a juice that this mixture produces.
- Just like any other alternative medicine you will not see the difference after 5 days, it takes time, but after 10 days you WILL notice changes.
- To get the beet color off your fingers uses fresh lemon and rub on your hands and fingers. Wash with warm water. It should do the job!
You may add ground ginger instead of raw/fresh.
