Hello everybody,
I am still trying to get back to blogging... I know I have been missing on some amazing recipes.
Blogging takes time and we have to be 100% to present ourselves and our dishes in the best way possible.
Today I have something very easy and it is my kids favorite lunch or on to go wrap. This could be perfect for picnics or when you have friends over. Less mess, less stress!
Also it doesn't lack in nutrition. This is made from 100% Organic Beef Pastrami (gluten free) and of course organic vegetables. However this is not your ordinary beef pastrami..This comes from Rocky Mountains Organic Meat and it's located in Wyoming where animals are happy and healthy. They are grass-fed and grass-finished, meat is very lean, packed with Omega-3 fatty acids and you can see and taste the difference when you compare to the leading store brands.
When Mr. Rod Morrison, president and CEO of Rocky Mountain Organic Meats says that this is the best meat that you will ever taste I believe him because it is honestly one of the best. Pastrami is absolutely 100% delicious and without doubt in my mind I would recommend to all of you!
Ingredients in Pastrami:
Beef, Water, Sea salt, Sugar, Black Pepper, Garlic, Coriander, Celery.
Taste Results: AMAZING!!!
Serves 4-5
Ingredients:
- 3 Large Tortillas
- 4 slices Rocky Mt. 100% Organic Pastrami
- 1 Tbs. Fat Free Cream Cheese for each (whip it and you will have an amazing spread)
- 1 Organic Orange Bell Pepper (or any of your choice)
- 1/2 slice of Smoked Mozzarella for each
- Organic Lettuce
I also boiled for few minutes in salted water Asparagus and just rolled Pastrami in the middle.
It's great appetizer, or snack! My husbands comment was, why didn't you wrap it all around the Asparagus?:)) Typical man's question!:))
You can check the Rocky Mt. Blog and read interesting facts and articles.
Enjoy the rest of your week!!!
Your friend,
Sandra

The wraps look great--but I'm really attracted to the asparagus. Such a nice change from wrapping in prosciutto!
ReplyDeleteI love learning about this kind of quick Western lunch option because I tend to go Asian food even for lunch time. When cooking/eating simple food, it's important that quality of ingredients are really good. I need to look for this brand and check it out!
ReplyDeleteThese wraps look wonderful, Sandra! I've rolled asparagus before - in prosciutto. The pastrami looks delish!

ReplyDeletePoor dear moving that many times, I think you need the hug, sending one your way. I agree it's time consuming. I haven't had pastrami in such a long time, I wish I had some in the fridge so I could have one of these for lunch. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. I finally resolved your feed issue, what the heck.

ReplyDeleteOne of Adam's earliest food memories is the wonder of discovering pastrami at Katherine's Cheese House - now defunct - in Hickory, NC. TO this day anything with pastrami has a target on it and the missile is his mouth. These wraps look delightful, and the wrapped asparagus look even better. Perfect lunch, especially now that spring is on it's way.
