This was bit unusual cake, but fast and tasty! It was perfect combination of chocolate and peaches and amazing treat to serve with tea or coffee.
Ingredients:
- 10 slices of frozen peaches or fresh firm {Depending on size of you baking pan}
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cups cocoa
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoon of unsalted butter
Garnish:
Powder sugar
Directions:
- Mix sugar, cocoa, eggs and vanilla; gradually add flour and salt. When that is mixed, blend in butter. Put it on the side.
- In the pan first place the parchment paper. Preheat the oven on 350F.
- Put frozen peaches in a cold water for few minutes and than place them on the bottom of the pan.
- Toss brown sugar and than pour brownies mixture on top.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes.
- Once it's baked let it cool down. Put the plate on top of the baking pan and just turn.
- Cake should just slide on the plate, and not stick, because of the parchment paper.
- Sprinkle some powdered sugar on top and enjoy this sweet, chocolaty upside down brownie!
Due to the IMAGE loss last year I am not able to present how it looks like, however I am working hard to make pics again. Thank you for understanding!
